Looking for love.…. I’m chasing love…… I hope I fall into love….. Where has love gone? At this season of the year “love” is in the air and on the calendar. So where and from whom do I really find love?
Let’s take a look at real mature love and where it comes from. It’s true that “money can’t buy me love.” Scripture tells us that “God so loved the world (us), that He gave His only Son” so that we could come alive spiritually and experience His true love for us as we walk along life’s road! John3:16 Sooo, true love comes from a relationally mature parent and that love gives life to those around and connected to that parent!
So, if I am “looking for love” I am most likely a relational child. As a mature relational parent, I would be birthing love in those around me. Jesus tells us that we are the parents who are “the light of the world” and others should be drawn to us because we as relationally mature parents are passing out the light of love to the infants and children of this world. The question really is; “Where and how do I position myself so that His light of Love shines the most brightly through me?!”
It is interesting to note that my true love light shines the brightest where and when it is the darkest around me!
