As the head of my household, how do I live and what do I accept and tolerate in my own home? The following scripture is very helpful to me:
“I will live in my own home with integrity. I will not put anything wicked in front of my eyes. I hate what unfaithful people do. I want no part of it. I will keep far away from devious minds. I will have nothing to do with evil. My eyes will be watching the faithful people in the land (and in my home) so that they may live with me. The person who lives with integrity will serve (and work with) me. The one who does deceitful things will not stay in my home. The one who tells lies will not remain in my presence.” Ps. 101: 2-4,6,7
My home is not a place to tolerate or hide evil. While failures and malfunctions will occur, we don’t stay and live in that condition. My home is a place where we all mature and encourage each other to be the real best self that God created us to be! My home is a wholesome place for us all to do all of life together!
