Do I really know who I am? Not what I do, but who I am? Chances are high that if you are reading this you are not a relational infant or child as they are looking at others and watching their behaviors. That is why the majority of the world is wandering around as spectators, always looking at and for new things and connections. As relational adults we begin to look at ourselves and start to develop identity. If I now start seeing myself as having a place and Person where I am connected, I begin to look into myself and I start seeing the marvelous way God has created me. …. I begin to see the unique person I am; and that gives me strength and purpose! I am now beginning to live from my identity; the “I am” …. love ….. kind ….
“I will never give up on you” .… now means I will never give up on me and who I am and my God given identity and the task he has given me to do!! There is His peace that pervades when “we” are in that slot. ….. The “we” is He in me and the you with me in this …..“I will keep you in perfect peace as you trust and rest in Me!” …
So, is the situation or circumstance currently being presented to me a test or an opportunity from the Lord? Is this the place for me to practice who I really am?! ……. Yes, The practice is for me, and this is the place and time for me to shine !! Judges2:21-23
