Joshua reminded the people of all the miracles and how the Lord had protected them, fed them, delivered them, blessed them, and brought them into the land He had promised them. “If you abandon the Lord and serve other gods, He will turn against you and destroy you, even though He has been so good to you in the past and even up until now .… The people answered, ‘we will serve the Lord’. ‘We will obey Him alone.’ So, Joshua made a covenant with them that day committing them to follow the decrees and regulations of the Lord… This was recorded in the book of Gods instructions. And as a reminder he rolled a huge stone under the tree by the tabernacle so that they would continually see and remember their commitment.” Joshua 24:1-28
I don’t want to lose the Lord’s blessings and protection over my life. I don’t want to be abandoned and left to struggle with doing life on my own. I want the joy of Jesus always being with me ….. always ….. always!!
So what “stone of remembrance” have I set up in an obvious place to help me to never forget that I am walking with Jesus and doing life with Jesus today? .. My “stone of remembrance” hangs on my bathroom wall ….. “I Love Doing Life With You!”
