This is the day that the Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it! Ps. 118:24 This is the day that the Lord has made for me!
So, What season and Day am I In? “As your day so shall your strength be.” Work while it is day because the night comes when you can’t work on this earth. On the first day God created. A day can be like a thousand years to God. There is evening of my last day and there is morning of my next day. My next “day” is the task or project or innovative idea along with the relationships that God has illuminated to me. If it is from God it will be a life-giving task. He will give me strength, energy, the mind, associated support, and the time (years) to accomplish that day’s task! Noah’s day’s task took over 100 years. And, wow, the “days” of Joseph in a foreign land! Moses had 42 years. Jesus had 3 years that still shake the world. Imagine the “days” that Mary experienced. Paul had at least 5 “days” that continue to shape us all (learning every little piece of the law, the Damascus road encounter, seeing visions and hearing from the Lord on the Isle of Patmos, spreading the Good News to all the known world, prison time where he wrote so many of the books of the New Testament). Sarah started her next “day” when she was 90 years old. John started his next “day” when Jesus died. Israel started their next day in 1948. We are awaiting the “day” of the Lord. Without a “day” from the Lord, we die. What is the “day” that I am currently in? Do the day with all your heart (right brain), soul (spirit), and mind (left brain). And it will go well with you. This is the “day” that the Lord has made for me so I will rejoice in it and be very appreciative of it and I will find grace and peace along with the joy of Jesus being with me!
